As you make your way around the community this summer, you'll notice upgrades to streetscapes, utilities, parks and other infrastructures are in full swing! The City's focus of the capital program continues to build on and protect our City's core assets, pedestrian connectivity and safety improvements. This work is part of our commitment to deliver improvements to every part of Port Coquitlam and is our second year of our $36 million 2022 -2023 capital plan. These projects will bring many enhancements for our community and residents. The City is keeping a close eye on the volatile construction market that is affecting schedules and project costs. Certain project schedules will be amended to reduce the impact of the highly competitive construction market and supply chain issues which will give the City time to take advantage of additional provincial or federal grant opportunities.
