The Finucane family say they want to "expose the whole truth behind the murder" of Belfast lawyer Pat Finucane following the announcement of a public inquiry into his murder. His killing, one of the most notorious of the Northern Ireland troubles, raised the issue of collusion between loyalist paramilitaries and British state forces. The lawyer had come to prominence as an effective defence solicitor, representing IRA members and loyalists accused of terrorist offences at the height of the conflict.
