Ottima tecnica per creare braccialetti, collane e anelli, ma anche ciondolo ecc. Per eseguire questa tecnica le perline ricoprono un ruolo fondamentale. Si predilige utilizzare perline delica miyuki perchè sono non troppo stondate, a forma rettangolare, tutte uguali! Ho provato a utilizzare perline diverse come le toho ma con risultati negativi per quanto riguarda l'estetica. Ho utilizzato invece come filo da tessitura il filo miyuki perchè lo reputo uno dei migliori. In commercio ne esistono di svariati colori.
