NAWI Webinar: University of California Water Reuse Projects and Lessons Learned

This NAWI webinar from August 6, 2025 featured representatives from the University of California, who provided an overview of water in the university system, and presented their experiences developing and implementing water recycling and storm water management projects. The webinar included discussions around a system that recycles purified water reject for cooling tower make-up, as well as the development of a project to re-purpose decommissioned diesel fuel tanks for stormwater detention and water recycling use in irrigation and industrial water. The speakers also covered lessons learned through implementing a stormwater non-potable water system that provides water for toilet flushing in new residential buildings.
