Here's a review of The Milner York Hotel! UK. It's stunning. It's grand. Will it be the best value Railway Hotel yet? (Note this used to be The Principal York but changed its name to The Milner York on 18th October 2024). This is the EIGHTH of my reviews of the famous British Transport Hotels. Built in 1878 integral to York Railway Station, The Milner York is a magnificent building built of Yellow Scarborough Brick.. We're staying in a Garden View Double Room and we'll have a full room tour. We'll check out the elegant public rooms, including the charming Garden Room, where guests indulge in delightful afternoon tea. Next, we'll stroll through the picturesque streets of York, visiting iconic sights like York Minster and the historic Shambles. After a day of exploration, we'll unwind with a glass of red wine in the cozy Chapter House bar at the hotel. Finally, we'll wrap up our stay with a delicious breakfast the following morning.
