These are two brake cooling fans for the Subaru BRZ or Scion/Toyota FRS/GT86. They are controlled by a sensor that reads the brake caliper's heat. - This is the first test run of the whole package from battery to fans all wired and ready to install. The fans draw a small amount of current when first connected to 12VDC but the draw is reduced to near zero when waiting for the instruction to run. While waiting, the indicator LED is Green. When the heat builds in the brake caliper, the LED indicator turns to Blue and the fans run at part speed drawing 2.5 Amps. If the heat builds high enough, the LED turns Red and the fans run at high speed drawing 12 Amps until the heat is reduced. The whole system can be turned off by simply removing the fuse near the positive battery connection.
