The city of Leningrad was under siege for 872 days. As a result, the rations were cut to starvation-levels. Even so, the food almost ran out! Confitions were terrible for the civilians, who suffered horribly. Technically, the siege of Leningrad was a Soviet "victory". However, for the civilians of city of Leningrad, victory came at a huge price, as we will discuss in this video. Sources and notes will be in the pinned comment.
