   / @plantobsessed   Looking in on the 55 gallon DIY worm bin that was made from a 55 gallon food grade barrel. There are 3 types of worms in here. Red wigglers, blue worms, European night crawlers. There are about 10 pounds of worms in here. Mostly red wigglers and blue worms. The worm bedding is made of shredded paper cardboard and some leaves, coco coir, kelp meal and molasses. I have videos on both simple worm bedding and the more complex type. Worm compost can also be made into a sprayable tea. I also have a video on that. We harvest some castings and start a worm cocoon nursery.
