All the locals were so helpful and kind to us. This side of the island was virtually empty and that made it so much more enjoyable and magical. The beach was EMPTY and beautiful with warm clear water and soft white sand. Mahagiri Resort did everything right in helping us feel welcomed. They even set up an amazing private, romantic, candle light dinner on the sand for us. The food was delicious with a nice presentation and the young server we had was OUTSTANDING. He made sure our glasses & stomachs were full and constantly checked in with us. We even made a canine friend who sat patiently waiting for steak scraps (he makes a cameo in the vid).
