Sleeving Drive Pulley Repair

The main drive pulley on my DoALL ML bandsaw was wallowed out from the years before I had acquired it. I put it on my lathe to clean up the bore and ended up with an oversize bore that I thought would not be to much of a problem but it turned out to be more play than I thought it would be. So in this video I demonstrates making a sleeve to go over the shaft and take up the extra space so the pulley has a nice tight fit to the input shaft on the transmission. This was not an ideal repair because I was not planning on doing this, if I had planned on it I would have oversized the pulley by probably .100 so as to make it easier to make a sleeve but I thought I would attempt this very thing sleeve any way. It worked out not the pretties thing but at least I dont have to mount the drive pulley back on the four jaw an indicate it back in and bore it out more than it is. Sorry for the camera not being closer I think next time I will shoot it with two cameras so you can have better detail of the lathe work.
