UFO : "Blinded by a Lie" : 1980 Greco Mockingbird/Joyo Preamp House

The opening track from UFO's final album with Paul Chapman, 1983's "Making Contact". I personally think this is a great album and contains some of Phil Mogg's finest lyrics. And they were still a fine live band on this tour of the UK in March/April of 1983, despite some hiccups (literally, lol!) earlier on the European dates. Which bizarrely saw Billy Sheehan on bass! The main guitar riff on this song is mainly a pedal tone on the open A string, with the octave F and G chords played on the D and G strings in the 3rd, 5th position. The end of the riff is the open A string hammer on to the 3rd fret (C note) and then catch the 3rd fret on the D string (the F note). The bridge is B, A, G, F# back to A. Solo is over E for the first part then F# for the second part. As ever this is just my interpretation of the rhythm guitar parts - I make no claim that it is 100% correct.
