I hope I have retold the story of this sad tragedy with both sensitivity and accuracy. I must especially thank Lt Col Brian Cuthbert - Imrie for allowing me to use material from his Facebook page ‘King’s Seat Hill Spitfires’ and for taking the time to meet with me in person and to help put this film together. Huge thanks also to Chris Cairns. Chris produced a lovely film (also available on the King’s Seat Hill Facebook page) covering the story behind the cairn, its building and unveiling.
