Granite Tower climbing in Oklahoma!?!?! Tuberculosis is an amazing route that wonders up Window Rock Wall; a granite tower that rises from the forgotten, Panther Canyon. It's old, it's loose, it's run out, it's gorgeous, it's everything you could want in a tower. This route is an absolute experience and I would love it if you got to delve into this adventure as well. But you're going to have to do it with a few less holds (sorry.) The Bonus Climb is Hern, Frank Thing 5.10, a really fun solo on upper Mount Scott. This line has a unique boulder problem off the deck, then climbs through a surprisingly featured slab that takes you past some cracks to the top. When rehearsing this route, I decided to try climbing the slab portion with my eyes completely closed. I forgot where all of the holds were but pasting my feet blindly and stepping upwards was entirely effective; this gave me the confidence I needed to ditch the rope. ok ok maybe im stretching the definition of a tower, but go climb this thing and tell me it doesnt climb like a gosh darned desert shorty tower
