How to Correctly Pitch a Lippert Awning V2

This video shows how to deploy and establish pitch on your solera awning. Pitch can be set by adjusting the pitch arm on the awning assembly to tip the awning for optimal water runoff. If the pitch of the awning is not set and a significant amount of water, snow or debris accumulate on the awning, the awning can pitch itself without notice. Manually remove any pooling water or debris from the top awning fabric by pushing up in the middle using a long handled tool such as a broom. Avoid using objects that can puncture or damage the fabric. Once any excess water is removed you can manually adjust the pitch of the awning. The pitch arm is designed to hold the set position by the operator. The operator can also reset the pitch of the awning by manually pushing up on the pitch arm. Do not overextend. The pitch can also be reset automatically when retracting your awning.
