Norfolk Southern Train With Double DPUs On Super Imposed Curve. Railroad Maintenance Of Way Equipment And Defect Detector Audio. 7 CSX And Norfolk Southern Trains In Walton, Kentucky, USA. I knew the first CSX train was coming because I saw it going under the Interstate when I was on the way to Walton. This train was awesome with the double DPUs in the middle. Notice how the train starts speeding up after the locomotives get across the railroad crossing. I also knew the first Norfolk Southern train was coming because I noticed that the line side signal was on green. There are 7 trains in this video, 2 CSX and 5 Norfolk Southern. My favorite train was the loaded grain train with 5 locomotives. This train had 2 locomotives on the front and 3 in the middle. That is very rare to see. When was the last time that you saw a train on this line with 3 DPUs? I also got a train horn salute. Seeing the trains at the old Norfolk Southern bridge that goes over CSX was pretty cool. I almost got an over and under. Just missed it by a couple minutes. The Norfolk Southern train gave me a train horn salute. They were booking. I knew the CSX intermodal train was coming because I saw it on a web cam. By the way, I saw the loaded NS grain train on the Berkshire live web cam in Lexington, Kentucky. I used to live next to the railroad crossing the very next street to the north of the web cam. We also take a quick look at maintenance of way equipment sitting on a siding. Some of that equipment is very unusual and I'm not sure what some it does. Leave a comment if you about some of the more interesting equipment on the siding.
