Hi everyone, welcome back! 👋 This is a follow-up to our last video — and yes, it’s still a backdated post from 2023, but too special not to share. Not long after disembarking the P&O IONA, we were officially hooked and booked two more cruises — this one included! This time, we boarded the elegant Cunard Queen Victoria for a 4-night roundtrip cruise from Southampton to Amsterdam.⚓ Since it was a shorter cruise and we were assigned a later embarkation slot, we decided not to stay overnight in Southampton. From memory, Cunard’s boarding process was a little different from P&O’s, but still very smooth and efficient — no long waits, and everything went seamlessly. Queen Victoria is smaller and older than IONA, offering a completely different experience. We absolutely loved the intimate, cosy atmosphere, and the ship's classic, luxurious décor made us feel like we’d stepped back in time to the 1920s — in the best possible way! ✨ We really enjoyed the variety of onboard activities, especially the insights and enrichment talks. And of course, afternoon tea in the Queen’s Room was a highlight — it felt so elegant and special. Safe to say, we had a wonderful time!
