The column of tubes for decapping or recapping can be selected by using a rotary dial or via RS232 commands. Compatible with tubes and capping systems from Matrix, Micronic, Abgene and FluidX, including 1.4ml, 0.75ml, 0.65ml, 0.5ml variants. The Xdc-96proS is able to decap and recap a mixture of tube types within the same rack The unit is supplied with a purge module as standard enabling the decapped tubes to have an inert gas of choice "layered" over the sample immediately after de-capping and immediately prior to recapping. The Xdc-96proS can used in manual or automated mode. The user can choose to dispose of the caps or automatically recap, where the caps are returned to the same tubes.
