Me and Mrs Larmer head to the overnight ferry from Plymouth to Santander for our first proper bike tour thats more than just a weekend. On tour with the ChickenstipsTours duo, Simon Weir (Mr Nav) and Bruce Smart (Mr Sync em up) for 6 days of incredible riding around the Picos de Europa Nation Park, from fast and flowing to "BMX track tight" left-right-left-right, it delivered all that you think it would and much, much more....... Day 1. This is day one, and once off the ferry it was just a short ride to the Hotel Infantado in Potes, approximately 15 miles to get away from the port on the motorway, then a snake like route that twisted and turned for the remaining 55 miles or so. Unbeknown to us excited travelers, shortly before we disembarked our ferry, the Pont-Aven, Spain had suffered a country wide power outage that would threaten the trip before it even got started..... keep watching to find out what happened.
