Project Firestart (C64, 1989) - (Best Ending, No commentary)
One of the earliest examples of games in the Survival Horror genre (Others being Maxwell Manor in 1984, Shiryou Sensen: War of the Dead in 1987 and Sweet Home in Dec 1989 while Project Firestart came out in March 1989). An enjoyable little game with some niggles such as the constant disk swapping (Which I discovered after recording there is a cartridge image that removes the need to disk swap), some random monsters spawns (They can come constantly and appear right on top of you if you are in front of a door), weapon switching requiring you to empty the gun's mag and the alien's camping the front of elevators. Other than those nitpicks, the game is quite solid for C64. Also, little interesting tidbit about the aliens in this game. They are pretty much identical to Inhumanoid's Tendril.
