Step 3: Keep your cigars stored in a sealed factory box Keep your cigars stored in a factory box that's still sealed in a wrapper. Keep the cellophane-sealed box in a cool, dark place. Tip An individual cigar in a wrapper that's unopened can remain fresh for several days. Step 4: Add a humidity pack to an opened box Add a humidity pack to an opened factory box. While quality cigar makers include humidity packs in factory boxes, you can buy similar humidity packs from a tobacconist. Did You Know?
