Paddling the Starboard Airline SPRINT in the sea |The SUP Store | Pointy board crew | 14’x27”|

So I really enjoyed paddling the starboard airlines sprint on Trent 100 in 2023 which is a 100 km paddle over two days and this starboard sprint for me was the perfect choice., so now it was time to try it in the sea. Not only does it glide beautifully but it is also super stable super stiff and really hard wearing, So on this glorious Saturday morning with the pointy board crew, I decided to get the starboard sprint out and try in the ocean. I did forget to put the nosecone on which helps the tension rope get a bit tighter but it still works perfectly without it. This rocks pump it up to 16 psi And I didn’t feel a wobble once it wasn’t a really choppy day and there wasn’t big waves but like any day on the ocean there was moving water and swell. I found it glided super nicely and I managed to keep up with some of the hard boards for a bit. The starboard airline is aim towards those paddlers who look to advance their paddling skills into racing or touring is the flatwater version which is the sprint. They also do a starboard airline All Star which is made for the ocean and more choppy days as you can see, the sprint performs perfectly well as well, with the star Lima medium Paddle today which is a fabulous Paddle for all conditions.
