The Moving Center presentation at the Brain Mapping Conference, July 2021 - Part 1 - by Eytan Lerner

This is the first part (out of three) of our presentation as a Moving Center at the 17/18th World Congress of Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics, which took place on July 8 - July 11, 2021 at Los Angeles Convention Center with close to 900 speakers attending the Congress in person and online. Brain Mapping and Therapeutics Society is a non-profit society whose mission is to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients afflicted with neurological disorders. This was a very exciting opportunity for The Moving Center and for the three of us to speak at such a large international event alongside world leaders in neuroscience, neurosurgery, neurology, bioengineering, physics, psychology and the medical industry. Our talk was titled Moving to See: The relationship between movement, awareness and vision in children with neurological challenges. We presented on the 10th of July at a Neurology session chaired by Dr. Deborah Zelinsky, the Founder of Mind-Eye Institute, who recently joined us for our Interview Series and shared her insights about the interconnections between her work and the neurodevelopmental learning through movement. Our presentations were well received and generated some interesting discussions with other researchers and clinicians in the field of vision and neuroscience. #TheMovingCenter #Conference2021
