Hello and welcome to Marie's Scrappy Creations! Today, I'm going to show you how to make the Scrappy Ladder Block by Cyndy Clemons. This block finishes at 12.5". It's so pretty and such a great use of our scraps! To make this, you'll need the following: For Version #1: Ladder Sides - Two (starched) 20" x 1.5" strips of Black or Preferred Color for strips Various widths of inner ladder strips, at least 5" long, no wider than 2.25" Various widths of outer strips, 13" and down For Version #2: Ladder Sides - Two (starched) 20" x 1.5" strips of Black or Preferred Color for strips Various widths of inner ladder strips, at least 5" long, no wider than 2.25" One (starched) 10" block that is a solid or tone on tone, cut diagonally as shown in video Use 1/4" seams and a tighter stitch than usual.
