We’ll practice word problems, graphing on a number line, and walk through examples with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This inequalities trick is perfect for Algebra 1 students or anyone brushing up on math skills. Treat the #inequality symbol like an equal sign and "undo" the operations than are being done to the variable to both sides. Subtraction and Addition undo each other, and Multiplication and Division undo each other. Remember, if you multiply or divide by a negative, then you need to switch the direction of the inequality.
