The STC1000 controller. Aquarium heat controller.

A quick look at the STC1000 heat controller. Cheap and effective device. Can also be used with SSR's with small modifications as discussed on my REXC100 video's and this video. The SSR range is 3 to 32 volts and not 24 volts as I commented in the video and it is I2C and not whatever I said in the video :D The pleasures of live waffling............... Two units could also possibly be piggy backed. Unit 1 controlling temperatures up to 24 degs and then the alarm could possibly be activated to then fire up Unit 2 to take the temperature to 26 degs. You get the idea hopefully, I shall have a little play but over temp cut off and redundancy seem like good idea's. Edit, scrub the piggy back idea, the cooling output is timed and not permanent in an over temp situation I believe.
