A cover with solo of the song 'Of Blood and Salt' by Gojira ft. Devin Townsend and Frederik Thorndahl of Meshuggah. Tuning - D Standard A long over due Gojira cover and a request. There were no full transcriptions so I took it upon myself to create one which you can find on ultimate guitar. The tab is written to be easier to read for a guitarist with the changing time signatures - the drums are playing a 4/4 groove most of the time. Writing the guitar parts in 4/4 would have made the tab difficult to read. The main riffs of the song are't particularly difficult apart from the one before the outro which can be a little tricky. For the solo it's best to read it in groups of 5 and 7 note clusters and you'll see some patterns emerging. I've annotated this on the full tab a bit more clearly. Take it slow, learn the patterns and soon the muscle memory will start to kick in after a couple of days of practise and you'll be able to speed it up. Good luck!
