DHVI Downhole Plug and Perf Operation Inspection

In this months Video of the Month DHVI was called out to investigate a 114.3mm casing during plug and perf operations. DHVI’s Capture HD Live camera was deployed on wireline while simultaneously streaming HD video, directly to the client’s office. The issue was quickly identified as a parted casing at the casing collar. Upon inspection of some additional casing collars above the area of interest, the camera was able to identify a slightly folded lip on the casing pin side. Initially the cause was unknown, but the reason was later identified as effects from over-torquing the connections together.
