Here it is: I finally felt ready to share this part of my life on my channel. A huge part of even committing to my YouTube channel this year was because when I was going through the loneliest years of my first marriage, I really wished I had a video like this to give me comfort that I wasn’t alone. My story is really unique (or maybe it’s not??) but if you feel alone in your marriage, I hope that sharing my story can bring some comfort to you too. Timestamps: 0:43 - what happened? Also, a disclaimer: I know this issue of gender identity is really sensitive and hits close to home for many. In this video, I use he/him pronouns referring to my ex. I know that my ex is now living as a woman, but when I share my story, I'm referring to the person who was my ex-husband and my experience of my marriage to that man.
