1995 Black Corvette Coupe Super nice 6-spd. manual. Black w/Black interior, 350/300hp, 6-spd. manual transmission. In its second to last year in production, the ’95 C4 had refinement as its goal. This was also a milestone year of sorts, as this was the year that Corvette, once again was chosen as the Official Pace Car for the Indy 500. And a Special Edition Convertible was introduced to commemorate this event. This was also the last year to the now legendary ZR-1. On the outside, the side vents were redesigned. But most of the changes were mechanical. They included new connecting rods, which were both lighter and stronger. The fuel injectors were also revised for more efficiency. The engine fan was redesigned for quieter operation. The clutch controls in the 4-spd. automatic transmission were improved for smoother shifting, and the torque converter was lighter and stronger than the previous design. For the 6-spd. manual transmission, the shifter was redesigned with a revised detent to make it easier to get the transmission into reverse. The larger brake package that was included with the ZO7 and ZR-1’s was made standard for all ’95 Corvettes. Spring rates were also revised for the base suspension models. We just got this ’95 in on trade for a ZR-1 and we have to say, it’s one of the nicer examples we’ve seen in quite a while. This former show car has been well cared for and looks it! It’s been serviced and is ready for Spring cruising! Black w/Black interior has always been one of the most popular color combo’s, and it looks particularly good on a C4. For those of us that feel that the only way to shift a transmission is manually, you’re in luck! Production of the 6-speed manual was less than 25% in ’95 and this is one of them. It mates perfectly to the LT1 engine and is a blast to drive! Options include; electronic climate control, Delco/Bose Gold Series CD audio system, dual power seats and tinted windows (added).
