A New Way to Use Inktense Blocks with Pastel Painting

I love discovering new techniques and I loved this new way I used Derwent Inktense Blocks with Pastel Painting to create a soft wash. Inktense Blocks are known for their intense color (which I love) but they can also be used much like a watercolor palette where you can apply your brush with water directly to the sticks of color.
