I think we are the first ones to actually shoot a music video here : Guinness World Records - "The largest summit cross is the 39.5-m-tall (129-ft 7-in) cross that sits at an altitude of 2,291 m (7,516 ft) up Mount Caraiman in the Bucegi Mountains of the Southern Carpathians of Romania. The height includes the 8-m-tall (26-ft 2-in) stone-clad concrete pedestal on which it stands. Known as the Heroes' Cross, or the Caraiman Cross, it was built between 1926 and 1928 to honour the dead of World War I. The achievement was verified on 14 August 2013. A summit cross is a cross erected on or near the summit of a mountain. There are larger crosses in the world, and summit crosses at higher altitudes, but the Caraiman Cross is the largest such cross at high altitude." Few words: "When we started to write the concept of the project we thought about the country that we live in , our traditions and our history ...and then felt the need to bring all of this into the bright light that it deserves and show a small part of this beautiful place that brought in this world good and bright people with strong characters.. We've taken shots from the top of the Bucharest National Theatre here in Lil' Paris(Bucharest) and made it all the way to the " top of the WORLD" - Heroes Cross. Besides hiking 8-9 hours in the mountains, with our cameras and equipment strapped on our backs, within a bear populated zone(the first 3 hours of the trip) and the tension that we felt during this nice walk, we've experienced a strong connection with the meaning of this beautiful and special place, the history behind it and the struggle of this old nation that gave birth to us. We are thankful for the generations that still know where they came from as people... and the value of it !
