►►Stream/Download/Shop music from the BYU Young Ambassadors: https://byurecords.lnk.to/BYUYAID?utm... EXTRAORDINARY MAGIC is a hybrid art form--a capture of staging and film. There are 16 videos in all. This project tells the story of three ordinary individuals who dealt with extraordinary circumstances. These tellings were derived from the real-life experiences of Terry Fox, a Canadian hero, Anita Lasker, a German Jew and cellist, and lastly, Rose Rakchhat Badell, a Cambodian refugee who lived through the perils of the Khmer Rouge. This THIRD video in a series of 16 is "Beautiful." We are introduced to Anita Lasker as she finds herself processed into the Auschwitz Concentration Camp (circa 1943). This project was created during the COVID Pandemic of 2021. The purpose was to share the creative work of the students, staff and faculty involved that couldn't be shared in-person. NOTE: All participants were vaccinated and/or tested negative before rehearsing and filming. The CDC and University safety protocols and precautions were explicitly followed.
