THE HAPPY GARDEN is a visual meditation on the fleeting innocence of childhood. Set against the vibrant backdrop of blooming roses and towering trees, this short film captures the raw, unscripted joy of children lost in play. From the soft rustle of the grass to the golden light filtering through the leaves, every frame is a tribute to the simple beauty of nature. Technical Breakdown: I wanted to prove that storytelling isn't about the gear, but how you use it. This project was captured entirely on the Sony a6400 using the standard 16-50mm kit lens. By utilizing natural "Golden Hour" lighting and shallow depth-of-field techniques, I aimed to give the footage a dreamy, nostalgic texture. Post-Production: Edited entirely on Premiere Pro for iPad. I focused heavily on a custom color grade to enhance the greens of the garden and the soft reds of the roses, creating a warm, "Old Money" vintage aesthetic that feels timeless.
