Finally! Microsoft Fixes the Most Annoying BYOD Prompt 🚀 For years, users and IT admins have struggled with the "Allow my organization to manage my device" prompt. Usually, it was "all or nothing" - if you wanted SSO, you had to accept full MDM management. That ends now. In this video, we dive into the new Public Preview capability that finally decouples Entra ID Registration from Intune MDM Enrollment. What’s Changing? Microsoft has introduced a new toggle that allows users to register their devices for identity/SSO benefits without being forced into full device management. The "Secret" Toggle: It's officially governed by the setting isMdmEnrollmentDuringRegistrationDisabled. The Catch: Note that this currently applies to flows within apps (Teams, Outlook, Edge) but does not yet apply when adding accounts via the Windows Settings menu.
