In this episode, Haunted Travels heads back into the Garden State for a journey into the weird, the artistic, and the strangely beautiful. We travel to Edison, New Jersey for the Dark Side New Jersey Art & Oddities Expo, a gathering that celebrates everything bizarre—from handmade curiosities to gothic art, taxidermy, wet specimens, occult pieces, cryptid culture, and the artists who live comfortably on the edge of the macabre. Along the way, we pick up friends, hit the road with a Wawa breakfast (because nothing is more New Jersey–bound than that), and dive into a convention floor overflowing with creativity and handcrafted oddities. From dark artisans to paranormal collectors, from the curious to the truly eccentric, every booth has a story—and every corner of the expo feels like its own little universe. After the con, we make our now-traditional stop at Harold’s New York Deli, home to sandwiches big enough to feed your past life, your current life, and whatever afterlife you end up with. The day winds down at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, where the ocean breeze, open water, and quiet horizon help wash away the noise before the long drive home.
