Join me as I continue my journey on El Camino Frances! In this episode: 📍 Day 17 - Burgos - rest day. Today I wandered around Burgos after having coffee with the guys and saying goodbye to a few of them. They’ve decided to buy a tent and camp for some of the upcoming nights. I visited the incredible Cathedral, had the most amazing pinchos at Casa Pancho (highly recommend!), heard the Burgos anthem playing in a bar, and ended the day back at Bar Patillas, the same spot we went to last night. Another unforgettable evening! 📍 Day 18 - Burgos to Hontanas. This was the longest and hardest day on the Camino so far. I set out thinking I’d walk around 24 km, but I ended up doing more than 34. That distance wouldn’t usually feel overwhelming..but when your mindset is locked in on 24, and you suddenly realize you’ve got 10 more kilometers to go, under the heat, when you were already dreaming of a shower and a bed… it hits differently. It’s so tough on the mind. But I made it..and in the end, I arrived at a wonderful albergue and had a relaxing evening. Grateful, proud, but very tired. 📍 Day 19 - Hontanas to Castrojeriz. This walk was unbelievably beautiful! Walking among the poppy fields was one of my favorite parts from the Camino. Nadia booked a bed for me at Espacio Interior in Castrojeriz - something I’ll be forever grateful for. Espacio Interior is a rare sanctuary on the Camino that invites you to slow down and breathe. It's a balm for the soul, an oasis where kindness and calm were woven into every corner. 📍 Day 20 - Castrojeriz to Frómista. It was a quiet day from Castrojeriz to Frómista. Just me, the trail, and some persistent blisters. :) 📍 Day 21 - Frómista to Carrión de los Condes. Another day walking solo but later in the day I met some of the guys and had lunch & dinner together. PS: I'm constantly hungryyyy!! There are so many incredible moments that happen between the videos I manage to capture. The Camino is so much more than what you see here.. you honestly have no idea. It’s deeper, fuller, and more beautiful than any camera could ever show. Those who’ve walked it… they know. And those who haven’t? Well… what are you waiting for? SUBSCRIBE to walk the Camino with me as I hike 800 km across Spain! 🪄 New vlogs, reflections, and behind-the-scenes coming soon. 🧡 Thank you for being here! ☕ Support the journey: If you’d like to get me a coffee, you can do that here: coff.ee/theodorac thank you so much for your support 💛
