The slasher genre has been meddled with so much it can be hard to tell where one movie starts and another ends in a series. Studio involvement, writing changes, director vision, and budget often make fans turn their backs all together on a franchise. But with the release of SCREAM 7, will the movie put the nail in the coffin for the genre by giving us the same old rinse and repeat or give us something to be hopeful for.
