DAY TWENTY || MEDITATION || Plow Colossians 1:24 GNT [24] And now I am happy about my sufferings for you, for by means of my physical sufferings I am helping to complete what still remains of Christ's sufferings on behalf of his body, the church. Fasting and prayers may mean we are not using our youthful days or productive use of our time to many; which may imply that they suspect we will suffer if we continue that kind of life but it is a thing of Joy, and yes God is our sufficiency, He will keep looking out for us but what is most important is the joy we have for helping to complete what is left of the sufferings of the Christ. Christ suffered yet scripture reveals that there is an ongoing suffering within us which is Christ's suffering; we could have decided to choose another kind of life for ourselves other than this Kingdom Prevalence Fasting and prayers but there's a joy that fills our hearts because we know we are doing it on behalf of the Lord. It is the Lord who supplies the Grace to the end that through us His Kingdom will prevail in our world. Colossians 1:29 GNT [29] To get this done I toil and struggle, using the mighty strength which Christ supplies and which is at work in me. Let us Pray;- Father, we pray for more Grace to bear your sufferings in our world. Father, we pray that there will be many who shall be ready to suffer for your name sake in our generation.
