Hours after Nepal police detained the top leadership of pro-monarchist party RPP for violating restricted zone entry during their protest, RPP Chairman, Rajendra Lingden along with six other leaders were released by the Nepal Police. According to reports, Lingden and other royalist leaders were arrested for defying prohibitory orders as they staged protest inside Singhadurbar, the administrative area in capital Kathmandu to demand the reinstatement of monarchy. Amongst those arrested were Lingden, Vice President Buddhiman Tamang and Chief Whip Gyanendra Shahi, apart from half-a dozen leaders. The RPP has been waging a legal and political struggle for the unconditional release of party leaders Rabindra Mishra and Dhawal Shumsher Rana. Mishra and Rana were arrested following a deadly violence on March 28, for inciting a mob. The violence had claimed lives of two people injuring over one hundred as the capital witnessed arson and vandalisation. The party since its inception has been supporting Hindu State and the Kingship as interdependent in the tiny nation buffered between two giants India and China. #Kathmandu #Nepal #RajendraLingden Subscribe to SouthAsia Newsline ► https://bit.ly/3pmDSR3 Don't forget to press THE BELL ICON to never miss any updates ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy and stay connected with us!! ☛ Visit our Official website: http://www.southasianewsline.com/ ☛ Subscribe us: https://bit.ly/3pmDSR3 ☛ Follow us: / sasianewsline ☛ Like us: / southasianewsline ☛ Official channel of South Asia Newsline - a weekday newscast ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- South Asia Newsline, India News, Pakistan News, Afghanistan News, Bangladesh News, Nepal News, Sri Lanka News, South Asia Weekday Bulletin, English News Bullletin
