Rounds and call changes in the belfry followed by some Stedman Triples on this ahem "delightful" octave. The magnificent Abbey is set in large grounds, and is well worth a look round. Upstairs, there is room to walk round the frame, the tower could easily accommodate a Tewkesbury-style ring, but the 10cwt 8 stand forlorn in the middle of the tower. The front 3 were cast by L&J in 1908, and the back 5 by Warners in 1861. They look like they hadn't been rung for a while and felt it too!! They are very loud but surprisingly OK sounding considering the founders and how bad the front 2 sounded when ringing them up together!!
