This short video has been produced to help spread the word about the fundraising we need to do in order to fund the redevelopment of the church grounds to provide level and disabled parking access to our beautiful 700 year old church building, St Thomas The Martyr in Up Holland, Lancashire. As things stand, funeral and wedding cars have to park on double yellow lines and kerbs surrounding the church perimeter in order to allow their clients to have access to the church. Also, following the huge success of our recently established Up Holland Community Hub based in the church building, providing the only Post Office service in the village, a cafe and lots of community events every day, some of our potential customers cannot access the building safely or at all. This is where we need your help. If you, your business, or anyone you know would be able to help us raise the £90,000 required to complete the work, we would love to hear from you. At the time of release, we have already raised over £20,000, have planning permission and a contractor lined up to do the work...we just need the funds to allow the work to start, and cannot start until the total funds have been secured.
