EF Academy Pasadena Saint Mark's School Unveil 'Saint Mark's Village' with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Last week, we gathered with Saint Mark's School, Altadena, city officials, and over 600 community members and families to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Saint Mark’s Village—a 12,000 sq ft learning space built on EF Academy Pasadena's campus in under two months following the devastating Eaton Fire. This partnership is more than a response to crisis; it’s an act of community, resilience, and shared purpose. With the support of Governor Gavin Newsom’s Executive Order N-6-25 and the swift action of the City of Pasadena, permits were expedited, and resources quickly mobilized—allowing us to open our doors to over 200 Saint Mark’s students. We’re honored to provide not just classrooms but access to campus-wide resources and a sense of belonging. Thank you to U.S. Representative Judy Chu, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Councilmember Rick Cole, and Cyntia Mitchell-Heard for championing this vision—and to everyone who helped turn urgent need into inspired action.
