Why I ONLY buy these knee pads...

These are the Platinum knee pads by Superiorbilt, which I believe is owned by Custom Building Products. I've been buying these knee well over 15 years, they're literally the only ones I'll buy. The #1 thing that makes these knee pads so beneficial, is that they are the only ones i've found that has a shin pad as well. The shin pad is a major benefit, because if you can literally transfer all your body to your shin to give your knees relief. I've found that no matter how much cushion your knee pads have, your knees will start to feel your bodyweight after awhile. With the option to shift the weight to your shin, your knees get a break while you continue working. By pointing your foot outwards the weight goes to your shins, but you can bend your toes to shift the weight back to your knees. When i'm moving around alot, I'm using the knee cushion, but when i'm working in the same area for awhile the shin cushion is such a relief. For this reason I won't buy knee pads that a simply a knee cushion. By the way, this video is not sponsored in any way, just wanted to share why I love these knee pads. Some other benfits of these knee pads are the hard protective cover that is stitched over the face of the knee pads, it's tough and has never been damaged or came off. The 2 straps are adjustable and thick so that they don't bind or pinch. The cushion last about six months to a year, depending on how much flooring I'm doing. The only thing I don't like about these knee pads is the button/clip system that's used to put on the knee pads. After much usage the button usually comes off, so I use them with 1 strap. After awhile the second button will come off too, then I'm just left with pads, lol! That's when I usally buy a new pair. Most of the time it's fine, because I'm due for a new pair anyway, but it's really frustrating when the buttons come off and there's still plenty of cushion. But I'll keep buying them because they are the only ones i've found that have a cusion for your shin. By the way, I'm not sure what the cushion is made of, but they are very thick, and last awhile.
