Stripping the cable (see our other videos), fanning out the cores (but not too much), ordering them correctly, precisely trimming the length, inserting into the plug, crimping, and checking the result to find that one of the cores didn't quite insert fully. OK, cut that plug off, throw it away and start again, yay!
