Astrophotography with a DSLR & Telescope in 2020! Here is my DSLR and telescope setup for astrophotography in 2020. This configuration is great for wide-field, deep-sky astrophotography such as large emission nebulae in the night sky. Yes, you can attach your DSLR camera to a telescope, and yes you can take amazing pictures of nebulae and galaxies - BUT, you'll need an equatorial tracking mount (like the Sky-Watcher HEQ5) to accomplish this. In this video, I discuss the camera settings, and filters I use to capture deep-sky images of nebulae from my backyard in the city.
