In today's video we cover some of the medical job interview questions that can come up. I also include a critique of their utility from a panel perspective (spoiler alert most of these are pretty poor questions to ask). We also provide pointers for trainees in tackling these questions. I've introduced you to the STAR or CAR technique for giving a behavioural example and show you how once again you can use it with these sorts of questions to shine. Would love to hear about your favourite or least favourite interview question. ⌨️ Blog https://advancemed.com.au/blog 💁🏻 Looking for Help https://my.advancemed.com.au/ 📚 Books https://coaching.advancemed.com.au 📣 Coaching https://coaching.advancemed.com.au/co... 📝 CVs & Resumes https://coaching.advancemed.com.au/do... 🌏 International Doctors https://coaching.advancemed.com.au/co... #jobinterview #interviewquestions #medicalinterview ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Me - the Career Doctor I provide career advice and support specifically for doctors. We struggle to support the needs of workers around us and deal with bad things like bullies in Medicine. This channel hopes to correct that by sharing stories about both good and bad bosses in Medicine as well as advice for both trainees and the bosses. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "No Cover Letters are required (for medical trainee job application)" • No Cover Letters are required (for me... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
