Well here is something new as I have not reviewed a complete trainset, but this is my review of the Athearn BNSF "Iron Horse" HO Scale Train Set which includes the EMD GP38-2 Diesel Locomotive in the BNSF numbered as 2257 and unlike some basic train sets out on the market, this set has four freight wagons which is an open iron ore hopper in "Rio Grande" livery, a Boxcar, a tanker wagon and a BNSF livered caboose (A caboose is basicly a brakevan with a crew break room). This is a UK version of the "Iron Horse" set as this set comes with a basic Bachmann train controller, a UK transformer and 14 pieces of Bachmann E-Z Track to make the basic oval. I do apologise if I babbled a bit halfway in the video as my battery went low on the camera and I had to stop the video and recharge the camera as well as resume the filming with the camera running on the mains. The only problem with my set was that the tanker wagon had a busted coupler, but I fixed this with a Bachmann "E-Z Mate" knuckle coupler (its always handy to have some spares in tow). At the price of just £45 including delivery, its a bargain of a set and an ideal set to start with for those that are new to model railways or American Model Trains.
