DISCLAIMER: This is not a sponsored video. The guitar was given to me by its owner for a review. This is an honest review and represents my personal opinion. I had one of these Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul guitars back in 2013 and I definitely not remember it having such a massive neck with a D profile. This came as a surprise because I always believed that the first MKH signature was modelled after his Gibson Les Paul Custom. LP Customs have a 60s style C shape thin necks unless Matt owned a 50s LPC which I doubt. Regardless it was a great deal back in 2013 and inspired me to do some covers and learn to play a little bit better. After owning it for almost 5 years I sold mine somewhere in late 2018, replacing it with a blacked out Gibson LP Custom. Would I buy one again - thats a question that I answer in the conclusion of my video. 0:00 Intro 1:21 The MKH 5:57 The Specs 8:25 The Pickups 9:38 Body & Neck 13:32 Back & Electronics 16:36 The Weight 16:51 Tone Demo 20:36 Deathrow Demo 22:28 My Thoughts Also check out the cool band of the owner of this guitar: / @deathrow2454 Instagram: @deathrowyambol Facebook: / georgevguitars Instagram: / georgevarbanov Gear used to record this video: Amp: Diezel VH-4 120W Head Cab: Diezel 2x12 Vintage 30 Rear Loaded Mic: Shure SM57, Audio-Technica AT2035 Interface: M-Audio 192/4 Camera: Sony A6400 with Sigma 30mm F1.4 and Iphone 13 Pro Max Stands: Athletic stand for cab microphone #guitar #mattheafy #trivium
