Green pine slash and logs can breed pine bark beetles that can spread to and kill other pine trees. These pine logs are infested with ips bark beetles, that can be deadly to pine trees. I will use my Massey Ferguson MF 30 MF 34 tractor with Farmi winch to log them. I put them on my Woodmizer LT15 sawmill to make lumber out of the ones I can. The rest and the off cuts I need to dispose of to kill the beetles. I can’t burn this material because we are now in wildfire season. I have another way to kill the bark beetles even when we can’t burn.
