just got the new chasetone fuzz fella teal bc109, wanted to see how it sounded compared to the 68 red velvet fuzz with bc183s and the fuzz fella with bc108s, apologies I couldn't keep my guitar in tune, I have been traveling alot and not playing enough, Gibson les Paul faded into marshall dsl40c i used these at the settings I prefer, this was my first time plugging them all in and I filmed it 68 rvf is germanium voiced, not sure if the circuit is tuned that way or if it's inherent to the transistors, but it's darker with more lower mids, very vintage sounding with amazing overtones teal bc109, seems a little higher gain but it may just have the right cut to it to be really aggressive, I'm not sure if it's the mids or the feel yet but if one or both of them are too high I found the cleanup unusable which I why I keep the mids lower, great for solos and with a strat it really gets that pink floyd money sound blue bc108 sits somewhere between the other two, a little more polite than the 109 and brighter than rvf and easy to use, has great cleanup
